Over the years of working out what clients are trying to communicate and why, so that we can deliver the best story for them, we know there are several key stages to the discovery process. What are they trying to achieve? What information do they have? Who is involved? Then comes the audience. What’s their perspective on this?

So today with a client I trialled a more formalised Discovery process. We wanted to make it a series of strict stages, so we can mechanise and streamline the thinking. Also, we can make sure that we do each of the exercises because it’s part of a process.
