
1.1 Start Your Journey
Every journey needs a destination, even if you change course on the way.
To help clarify what you’re trying to achieve with this project, take a few Target cards, and write what you’d like your audience to do.
- Are you bringing something new to the market?
- Do you want them to buy your product?
- Would you like them to register their interest?
- Discover something new about your project?
- Perhaps visit the website?
These Targets should be both awareness-based – “We want our customers to be aware of our new range” or action-based – “We want customers to register on our website”.
Don’t get bogged down in analysing each Target, but keep them specific and short.
Place the Target cards to one side, somewhere they can be clearly seen at all times. You’ll be referring back to them at each stage in the workshop.
