Recently made our Discovery Deck trademark application to the Intellectual Property Office. Today we heard back from the Trademark Box that our application has passed the first hurdle. This means the IPO recognises our claim to using the Discovery Deck for the various classifications “in relation to marketing, project planning, business planning, decision making, team building and personal development”.

The IPO have also decided that there are no other organisations with similar enough trademarks who should be notified of our application. So, this bodes well for us being granted the trademark.

Now the the waiting game begins. We have to wait for two months once the application is made public just in case anyone feels we infringe their trade marks.
