Today we made our Discovery Deck trade mark application to the Intellectual Property Office so we can own the name in the UK (well, as a start!). While we could have made the application ourselves, we went with the Trade Mark Box, who have offered us great advice on our application.
To own a trademark, you must have a unique name, or be using a name within specified categories of products and services. To help your case, you can also narrow it down to using a name with certain type of audience.
We now have to wait a week or two before we get the result back from the IPO.
